What Former Nigeria’s Minister Said About New UK PM

OpenLife Nigeria reports that the announcement on Monday, September 5, announcing  Liz Truss as the new Prime Minister of the  United Kingdom, UK, had been predicted on July 7 by Nigeria’s former minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode.

On that day, Femi Fani-Kayode, tipped Liz Truss , who was then Secretary of Defence and leader of the Conservatives, as the next UK Prime Minister.

Fani-Kayode stated this via his verified Twitter handle.

His tweet read: “Boris is out and I believe that Liz Truss, the Secretary of Defence, will be the next leader of the Conservatives and Prime Minister.”

The former minister, however, described Truss as a hysterical and bellicose pro-Ukrainian, saying her anti-Russian jingoism will serve her and the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO) well.

“Her anti-Russian jingoism will serve her and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) well when she gets there and the world will be a step closer to WW3 (World War III),” he said.

It would be recalled that Truss’ predecessor,  Boris Johnson resigned his appointment as PM in July over a series of scandals.

The new Prime Minister is a British politician who has served as Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs since 2021 and as Minister for Women and Equalities since 2019. She has been Member of Parliament for South West Norfolk since 2010.

Born on July  26, 1975 in Oxford, United Kingdom, the 47 years graduate of Merton College in 1996 married Hugh O’Leary in year 2000
