Nigeria will overtake Dubai within two years if governor Dave Umahi of Ebonyi State becomes President
OpenLife Nigeria reports that the President of Lagos Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Chief Solomon Ogbonna Aguene has predicted good fortune for Nigeria should Nigerians vote governor Dave Umahi of Ebonyi State as President of Nigeria in 2023.
Chief Aguene stated this on Thursday as part of his Christmas goodwill message to Lagos Ndigbos in particular and Nigerians in general.
In the message cited by OpenLife Nigeria, Chief Aguene enthused “The year 2020 is gradually drawing to a close. Despite the topsy-turvy we have witnessed in the past 12 months from the COVID-19 and its associated economic downturn to the EndSARS protests with the attendant curfew to skyrocketed prices of general goods and services and the reported descent into another round of recession, the Almighty God has been so merciful and kind to humanity. In the midst of despair and despondency, the good Lord did not forsake his people.”
The Ohanaeze President however, admonished Ndigbos worldwide to be interested in the affairs of Nigeria especially now that the bell of 2023 general election is ticking.
He specifically urged Ndigbos to be united in the pursuit of their presidential intentions saying that “Governor Dave Umahi of Ebonyi State has demonstrated capacity to lead Nigeria. Considering what he has been able to do in Ebonyi State with little resources, I am very sure if Nigerians vote him as President in 2023, he has the intelligence and administrative capacity to make Nigeria overtake Dubai in terms of business destination,” he assured.
