Ibrahim Lamorde, Former EFCC Chair, Heads Police Intelligence Bureau

<p>&nbsp&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><em>Ibrahim Lamorde&comma; a former chairman&comma; Economic and Financial Crimes Commissions is now the head of Police Force intelligence bureau<&sol;em><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong><a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;openlife&period;ng&sol;">OpenLife Nigeria<&sol;a><&sol;strong> gathers that Ibrahim Lamorde&comma; one of the newly promoted Deputy Inspector General of Police&comma; DIG who was formerly chairman&comma; Economic and Financial Crimes Commission&comma; EFCC&comma; has been assigned to head Force Intelligence Bureau &lpar;FIB&rpar;&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;In a press release signed by an equally newly promoted Police Public Relations Officer&comma; Frank Mba&comma; stated that other newly promoted DIGs have been assigned different portfolios&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;The statement titled&comma; Newly Promoted Digs Get Portfolios&comma; reads&colon;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><em>&OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;Following the recent promotion of Senior Police Officers by the Police Service Commission&comma; the Inspector-General of Police&comma; IGP M&period;A Adamu&comma; NPM&comma; mni has ordered the posting&sol;redeployment of five &lpar;5&rpar; newly promoted Deputy Inspectors General of Police to oversee Departments of the Force&comma; whose former heads retired recently after the completion of their service years&period;<&sol;em><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><em>The promoted Senior Officers&semi; DIG Usman Alkali Baba&comma; fdc will now head the Force Criminal Investigations Department &lpar;FCID&rpar;&comma; DIG Ibrahim A&period; Lamorde&comma; mni &&num;8211&semi; Force Intelligence Bureau &lpar;FIB&rpar;&comma; DIG David Oyebanji Folawiyo&comma; mni &&num;8211&semi; Department of Information and Communication Technology &lpar;ICT&rpar;&comma; DIG Joseph O&period; Egbunike &&num;8211&semi; Department of Finance and Administration&comma; DIG Dan-Mallam Mohammed&comma; fdc &&num;8211&semi; Department of Training and Development&period; Similarly&comma; AIG Moses Ambakina Jitoboh&comma; mni was redeployed from the Border Patrol Section to Acting DIG in-charge of the Department of Research and Planning&period;<&sol;em><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><em>The IGP&comma; while congratulating the Officers&comma; who by this promotion and posting&comma; are now members of the Force Management Team&comma; charges them to bring their vast experience and professionalism to bear in their leadership of the Departments to enhance the ongoing reforms and repositioning of the Force&period;<&sol;em><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><em>The postings and redeployments are with immediate effect&period;”<&sol;em><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&nbsp&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
