<p>Lagos Waste Management Authority, LAWMA, an agency of Lagos Government, statutorily charged with solid waste management, has established an academy.</p>



<p>The academy is to provide quality education, <a href="https://openlife.ng/">proper engagement,</a> adequate sensitisation for strategic decisions about waste management in the State.</p>



<p>It is the first of its kind by any waste management authority in Nigeria. LAWMA Academy provides a <a href="http://www.wsj.com">knowledge</a> hub for credible hands-on tutelage and certification in solid waste management.</p>



<p>The Academy offers <a href="http://www.punchng.com">Internship</a> programme, Organisational Training, Waste Management Specialty Training in, Summer School, Waste Summit and Waste Competition.</p>



<p>As a result, the Academy will partner <a href="https://openlife.ng/">government,</a> academia and institutions for a workable reform in the waste sector.</p>
