Lagos Waste Management Authority establishes an academy

&NewLine;<p>Lagos Waste Management Authority&comma; LAWMA&comma;  an agency of Lagos  Government&comma; statutorily charged with solid waste management&comma; has established an academy&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>The academy is to provide quality education&comma; <a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;openlife&period;ng&sol;">proper engagement&comma;<&sol;a> adequate sensitisation for strategic decisions about waste management in the State&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>It is the first of its kind by any waste management authority in Nigeria&period; LAWMA Academy provides a <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;wsj&period;com">knowledge<&sol;a> hub for credible hands-on tutelage and certification in solid waste management&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>The Academy offers <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;punchng&period;com">Internship<&sol;a> programme&comma; Organisational Training&comma; Waste Management Specialty Training in&comma; Summer School&comma; Waste Summit and Waste Competition&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>As a result&comma; the Academy will partner <a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;openlife&period;ng&sol;">government&comma;<&sol;a> academia and institutions for a workable reform in the waste sector&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
