Ikeja disco announces blackout in Lagos (full list of affected areas)

<p><strong>The management of  <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;Openlife&period;ng">Ikeja Electricity Distribution Company &lpar;IKEDC&rpar;<&sol;a> on Sunday announced a ten-day planned outage in some communities in Alimosho&comma; Lagos State&period;<&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The outage would start from Tuesday 6th September to Monday 15th September&comma; 2022&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The company will be replacing old panels at its Igando injection substation&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>According to the company&comma; the replacement of the panels is geared towards ” improving the quality and quantity of power ” to the areas that will be affected in the local government area&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<h1><a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;openlife&period;ng&sol;sanwo-olu-announces-resumption-date-for-lagos-schools&sol;">Sanwo-Olu Announces Resumption Date For Lagos Schools <&sol;a><&sol;h1>&NewLine;<p>The statement from the Disco yesterday reads&colon; ” As part of our efforts at improving the quality and quantity of power supply&comma; we have decided to replace old panels at our Igando Injection Substation”&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;This exercise will last for ten &lpar;10&rpar; days&comma; from Tuesday&comma; 6th to Monday&comma; 15th September 2022&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Feeders affected are General Hospital&comma; Obadore&comma; Egan&comma; Akesan&comma; Igando-Ikotun&comma; Agric Road and New Igando&period;”<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;We appeal for your understanding during this period&period; Thank you for allowing us to serve you&period;”<&sol;p>&NewLine;
