<h4>Rabiu Kwankwaso’s 2023 Error Taints His Defection To ADC As “Medicine After Death,”</h4>
<p><strong><a href="https://openlife.ng/">OpenLife Nigeria</a></strong> reports that a business woman and social media educator, Progress Okuk, has described Engineer Rabiu Kwankwaso’s defection to the African Democratic Congress, ADC as grave error which would translate to nothing.<br />
Technically, the Oron, Akwa Ibom State born but Abuja based fashion specialist sees Kwankwaso’s defection as “Medicine After Death.”<br />
At the weekend, the former Kano State governor had announced that he visited ADC chieftain and former Vice President Atiku Abubakar at his Abuja residence where “We had a productive discussion aimed at forging a common front to reposition our dear nation on the right trajectory,” <a href="https://www.vanguardngr.com/">Kwankwaso</a> disclosed.<br />
This disclosure was variously interpreted in the political space as the final statement on his defection to the opposition ADC ahead 2027 general election.<br />
However, a critical segment of the views by political surveyors implies that Kwankwaso has former President Obasanjo&#8217;s backing to be on the ballot for the 2027 presidential election on an Obi-Kwankwaso ticket in the ADC.</p>

<p>According to the views, this prompted Kwankwaso to conclude all consultations to dump his New Nigeria People&#8217;s Party, NNPP and join the opposition ADC ahead of its presidential primary.<br />
Reacting, Progress Okuk gave a contextual overview of Rabiu Kwankwaso’s strategies, saying that the decision to abdicate a 2023 alliance with Peter Obi was a misstep on his political journey.<br />

<p><em><strong>He toed the path of the men before him, who didn’t think an Igbo man was deserving of the Presidency.</strong></em></p>
<p><em><strong>He, just like Atiku Abubakar, believed that the only thing good enough for an Igbo man and any South South person, was the office of the Vice President.</strong></em></p>
<p><em><strong>The audacity of any Northerner, to put themselves in the presidential contest of 2023, after Muhammad Buhari’s disastrous presidency, is still grating.</strong></em></p>
<p><em><strong>They did not anticipate the results of the 2023 elections, ever!</strong></em></p>
<p><em><strong>Kwankwaso’s alliance with the ADC now, is what we call “medicine after death”. It bears no relevant impact to the politics of next year.</strong></em></p>
<p><em><strong>Perhaps for 2031. Otherwise, 2027 belongs to the man who has worked more deliberately.</strong></em></p>
<p><em><strong>He may have been an awful President, but BAT is certainly a better and smarter politician. This is why his party will win the 2027 general elections.</strong></em></p>
<p><em><strong>You only have one chance to beat men like Tinubu; and when you have it, give it your best shot.</strong></em></p>
<p><em><strong>The opposition had that chance in 2023, and blew it.</strong></em></p>
