Gov. Abiodun hits the ground running, holds crucial meetings

Barely 24 hours after swearing-in, Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State arrived the  Oke Mosan Government House at about 9:30am on Thursday, May 30, 2019 to resume  duty.

 His arrival elicited joy around the environment with permanent secretaries of various ministries on standby to receive the fresh His Excellency, Dapo Abiodun  and his Deputy, Engineer Mrs. Noimot Salako Oyedele.

Officially, he  was received by the Head of Service, Engineer Lanre Bisiriyu. He thereafter went straight to inspect guard of honour mounted by the men of Nigeria Police Force.

He moved around some Ministries including Civil Service Commission, Finance,  Chieftaincy Affairs, Office of the Head of Service and Deputy Governor’s office. 

At about 10.58 am the governor engaged  Permanent Secretaries in a closed door meeting at the office of the Head of Service.

Three hours after,  Service Chiefs including FRSC State Commander, Nigerian Prisons, Civil Defence Corps, Nigeria Immigration Service, Nigeria Customs Service, Director of DSS and the Commissioner of Police, assembled for another round of meeting with the new governor.
