OpenLife reports that Nollywood actor uzor arukwe has dismissed rumours linking him romantically with actress bamike olawunmi-adenibuyan, insisting the claims are completely false.
Speaking with BBC Igbo, Arukwe explained that he first met Bambam while filming the movie love in other words and that their interaction remained strictly professional.
“before i touched her, i asked her if there was any way i could touch her that her husband wouldn’t like or that might cause problems at home. that movie was the first time i had ever met her. but people started saying we slept together and were dating, which was completely false.”
He emphasized that he always seeks consent before filming intimate scenes, especially with married colleagues, to avoid causing problems in their personal lives.
Arukwe said the rumours arose from misinterpretations of on-screen chemistry but insisted that professionalism and respect guide all his work in Nollywood.
The actor’s clarification shows the importance of boundaries and consent in the film industry, reminding fans that movies do not always reflect real-life relationships.
