OpenLife Nigeria reports that in today’s world, the sojourn to self-development and career advancement is undoubtedly tough for many youths. By that token, it is not uncommon to see youths struggle in establishing career paths. From the impaired systems of education in the nation and unavailability of resources readily available to youths for career growth, an average youth is forced to turn to vices that contributes to the increase in crime rates, which impacts the nation negatively
With the unfortunate turn out of events in Nigerian systems of education, one can observe the delay most youths undergo, especially when it comes to establishing career. After years of studying, the sad reality for most Nigerian graduates , is that there isn’t a guaranteed employment into the corporate world. This is because the current system of education, does little in upskilling youths to establish successful careers, and that has affected the youths in several ways.


According to a report published by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), the rate of unemployment in Nigeria has risen to 33%. And about 53.4% of unemployed people are between the ages of 15-24. By that token, Crelor Space decided to embark on a mission to equip young talents with easy and convenient access to learn in-demand skills. The academy aims to bridge the gap of unemployment and play its part in contributing to the nation’s economic growth.
Crelor Space was founded by Mrs.Uju Ujunwa-A customer relations executive, who decided to switch career paths, in order to build a successful career in Tech. Guided by her in-depth believe in value, and sustainability in finance, transitioning to a tech career, accentuated and resonated deeply with her desire to be a bridge that connects young people to the life they desire to achieve through upskilling.
The growing unemployment rate in the country, substandard systems, and the overly expensive tuitions-that comes with learning tech skills, led to her creating an academy designed to provides a quality system that eliminates financial limitations. Additionally, providing the knowledge and resources needed by creative minds, to excel in their career, greatly impacting the nation’s economy.
Beyond equipping creative minds with easy and convenient access to quality technical education, the academy provides industry-standard resources, mentorship programs and internship opportunities that adds impetus to their career advancement. This arguably contributes to their progress in establishing a successful career in high-income tech skills.
