Cancel February 25 Presidential Election—Labour Party, Peoples Democratic Party

Cancel February 25 presidential election

OpenLife Nigeria reports that leadership of the Labour Party, LP and the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, on Tuesday, took an overview of the February 25 presidential election and came up with a verdict the election was characterized by fraudulent practices.
They noted with dismay the deliberate of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC to twist the outcome of the election by reneging on the guideline which compels the electoral body to transmit results electronically at the polling Units.
“INEC has compromised the integrity of the election even before the election begun,” Abure Julius, Labour Party chairman who read the joint decisions of the two parties stated.
“This election is not free and far from being fair,” LP and PDP said adding that the election is irretrievably compromised and therefore, the election be cancelled.
