Grammy Award Nominee, Ayra Starr, Offers Rare Glimpse into Her Spiritual Pathway

OpenLife Nigerian singer Ayra Starr has offered a rare glimpse into her inner world, discussing her evolving spirituality and expanding creative ambitions during a recent livestream conversation with TikTok personality Jarvis.

In the candid session, the music star, born Sarah Aderibigbe, explained that her connection to faith is deeply personal and not confined to conventional religious routines.

Rather than defining herself strictly through organized religious practice, she described a more individualized spiritual path that prioritizes personal understanding, growth, and a continuous sense of connection with God.

She emphasized that her beliefs are shaped by what currently works for her, noting that her spiritual approach helps her remain grounded amid fame and creative pressures.

Drawing from her perspective on faith, she referenced a guiding principle, stating that belief has a powerful influence on how life unfolds.

At one point in the discussion, she expressed her aspiration, saying she wants to be “as perfect as Jesus,” clarifying that it reflects a desire to embody love, discipline, and moral awareness rather than literal perfection.

She added that her understanding of spirituality is still evolving and may change as she continues to grow in life and experience.

Beyond matters of faith, the “Rush” hitmaker also shared major career news, revealing her growing interest in acting.

She disclosed that she began exploring film work the previous year and is now preparing for the release of her debut movie project.

According to her, this marks a new creative phase as she transitions beyond music into the film industry, signaling an expansion of her artistic identity and future opportunities in entertainment.
