Apostle Suleman breaks silence on convoy attack

<p><strong><a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;Openlife&period;ng">Apostle Johnson Suleman<&sol;a>&comma; the <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;OpenLife&period;ng">General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministries h<&sol;a>as confirmed that he was attacked by yet to be identified gunmen in Auchi&comma; Edo State on Friday afternoon&period;<&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Suleman&comma; who described the attack as an &OpenCurlyQuote;assassination attempt’ claimed the gunmen waylaid his convoy and shot at him directly&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The controversial cleric who said this in a video&comma; said his saving grace was the bullet proof vehicle he was riding in&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Suleman added that the bullet proof vehicle has the marks of the multiple bullets shot at him&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Reports had indicated that the convoy of the Auchi based preacher was attacked on Friday afternoon&comma; with four policemen and two other persons killed&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<h2><a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;openlife&period;ng&sol;labour-party-suspends-national-youth-leader-names-replacement&sol;">Labour Party Suspends National Youth Leader&comma; See Why <&sol;a><&sol;h2>&NewLine;<p>Suleman’s lawyer&comma; Samuel Amune&comma; who confirmed the attack said the cleric just returned from a program in Tanzania&comma; adding that he escaped death by a whisker&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>He said&comma; &OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;He was returning from a journey and he had almost on the shores of Auchi when some assassins attacked him&period; Three of his police orderlies&comma; among others died&period; He travelled before and just finished a program in Tanzania&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;He was returning to Auchi when the gunmen attacked him along Sabingida down to Warake area&comma; and Auchi shares direct boundary with Warake&period; So&comma; he had passed Warake and was entering the boundaries of Auchi when the attack happened&period;”<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&nbsp&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
