<p><em><strong>Turning and turning in the widening gyre The falcon cannot hear the falconer&semi;<&sol;strong><&sol;em><em><strong>Things fall apart&semi; the center cannot hold&period; <&sol;strong><&sol;em><em><strong>Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world&period;<&sol;strong><&sol;em><em><strong>The blood-dimmed tide is loosed&comma; and everywhere&period;The ceremony of innocence is drowned&semi; <&sol;strong><&sol;em><em><strong>The best lack all conviction&comma; while the worst <&sol;strong><&sol;em><em><strong>Are full of passionate intensity&&num;8221&semi;<&sol;strong><&sol;em><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>It&&num;8217&semi;s no longer news that the shepherd in charge of Omega Fire Ministries&comma; Apostle Johnson Suleman escaped an assassination attempt on his life on Friday afternoon which sadly left seven innocent lives dead along Benin-Auchi road&period; My fear is that when attackers no longer respect the &&num;8220&semi;anointing&&num;8217&semi; or &&num;8216&semi;oil&&num;8217&semi; on religious leaders &lpar; be it Muslims or Christians&rpar; in a nation&comma; such a country is heading toward anarchy&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Sadly&comma; this attack on Apostle Suleman has once again revealed the cracks&comma; disunity&comma; selfishness&comma; and hypocrisy in Christendom in Nigeria&period; I give it to my Muslim brothers&comma; by now they would have issued statements standing by their own&comma; condemning the attack and giving an ultimatum to security operatives to investigate&comma; expose and arrest the perpetrators and their sponsors…<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Sadly&comma; till now I have not seen any comment or statement openly by any Christian association or leadership over this barbaric act&period; My concern is not majorly about the Apostle who survived the ordeal because as a man of God I am sure he is always ready for the uneventful&comma; but the unlucky seven souls and the psychological trauma of the Apostle&&num;8217&semi;s family members who according to some reports were with him in the car&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>However&comma; I might be wrong this time or maybe I am in a rush&period; Still&comma; time will tell to see the reactions of Christian leaders and their association on the spate of insecurities plaguing this country which sadly almost claimed one of their very own&comma; Apostle Suleman&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>However&comma; I will give it to the security operatives who responded swiftly to the attacks which according to reports led to the death or arrest of one of the perpetrators&period; Nonetheless&comma; until we begin to focus attention on the security sectors&comma; and pump more money into the branding&comma; upgrading&comma; and acquisition of the latest software on security rather than on politics and politicians&comma; the falcon won&&num;8217&semi;t be able to hear the falconer&comma; things will fall apart and the center won&&num;8217&semi;t be able to hold it again&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><em><strong>Femi Oyewale is the publisher of Sahara Weekly Magazine and Sahara online&period; He is also the President&comma;  National Association of Online Security Reporters &lpar;NAOSRE&rpar;Whatsapp number &lpar; &plus;97335659105 &rpar;<&sol;strong><&sol;em><&sol;p>&NewLine;
