APACMF Honours individuals with outstanding security records
OpenLife Nigeria reports that African Peace And Conflict Management Foundation, APACMF, an NGO, is set to honour governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State as African Continental Governor of the Year 2020, Professor Pat Utomi as Outstanding Leader of the Decade, Television Continental as African Continental Media of the Year on Security Reporting 2020.
The recipients are expected to be honoured on account of their outstanding roles in promoting peace in Nigeria and beyond at the Foundation’s maiden conference, fund raising and unveiling of The Global Newspaper, billed to hold at 10am prompt on March 11 at Oriental Hotel, Lagos.
Others peace ambassadors identified to be honoured are Chief Dr Joseph Ameh Erico as African Continental Most Industrious Security CEO of the Year 2020; Chief Solomon Ogbonna Aguene as Royal Father of the Year and the Grand Patron of Peace 2020; Bose Agbonmerele Ironsi as African Best Woman of the Year 2020 on Domestic Violence and Rt. Hon. Alhaji Bashir Zubair Birnin-Gwari as Continental Youth Ambassador of the Year 2020.
The list APACMF Honours includes Babajide Otitoju as African Continental Best Journalist of the Year 2020, Security Reporting; Mr Aigbe Charles as African Best Corporate Communication Man of the Year 2020 and Paul Obazele as Outstanding Youth Ambassador for Peace 2020.
Fidelity Bank Plc would be recognized as African Most Trusted Bank of the Year 2020.
Guest speakers expected at the event with a theme: Peace, The Bedrock of Economic Development, are Mr. Paul Obazele, President, Legends of Nollywood, Mr. Babajide Otitoju, Director, TV Continental, Mrs. Bose Ironsi, Executive Director, WRAHP, Dr. Phil Okonkwo, Health, Wellness Coach and Professor Pat Utomi, Lagos Business School.
Ambassador Innocent Eneta, founder of APACMF and Publisher of Daily Global Newspapers says the ceremony would be a day of excellence as leading lights in the promotion of peace and harmony would be honoured in an atmosphere of conviviality.
“The event promises to share insights on how to protect the future from the waves of conflicts and social violence in the face of global security threats,” Eneta stated.
