I Was Always Begging For Love –BBNaija Star Phyna Reveals Painful Childhood and Journey To Fame

OpenLife reports that a BBNaija Star, Phyna, has revealed stunning segments in her developmental years saying that her birth name is Blessing, but it never felt right to her.

Born and named Josephina Otabor, the Nigerian reality TV star, actress, and model who won the 7th season of Big Brother Naija (Level Up) in 2022 with 40.74% of the final votes, is now widely known as “Phyna.”

“The name given to me by my parents is Blessing. My reason for hating that name was that I don’t see a sense of blessing in my life,” she said.

Phyna described a childhood where love felt scarce.

“It felt like I was always begging for love family love, friendship, even in relationships. Even, in fact, dem don use am curse me,” she confessed.

She recalled how growing up was chaotic and different from the experiences of many other teens.

“All aspects of growing up for me were very cràzy. As a teenager, there are things you could get from parents and family, but I didn’t have that,” she said.

Yet, despite the hardships, Phyna always believed she was destined for greatness. She would tell her family, even when they were harsh or dismissive, that one day they would see her on television.

“I knew for one that I was going to be big.

Growing up, I would always tell my aunts, even when they beat or maltreated me, that I would tell them they would watch me on Television and I would have money,” she revealed.

Today, Phyna has turned those words into reality, transforming a challenging childhood into a story of courage, determination, and stardom.
