<h4>Buhari Cautions Osinbajo Over 2023 distractions<&sol;h4>&NewLine;<p>OpenLife Nigeria reports that following the growing trend of advocacy for his 2023 presidential aspiration&comma; Vice President Yemi Osinbajo&comma; on Monday&comma; cautioned  his supporters against distracting him from his vice presidential engagements&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>OpenLife reliably gathered that the decision to address supporters and loyalists on Monday and sternly called them to order was as a result of President Buhari&&num;8217&semi;s expression of reservations about Osinbajo&&num;8217&semi;s distractions from his statutory responsibilities&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>According to credible Villa source who spoke to OpenLife late Monday night&comma; the Chief of Staff to the President was said to have called the Vice President and offered him &&num;8220&semi;unofficial&&num;8221&semi; brotherly advice to minimize the distractions associated with his presidential aspiration&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The Vice President was reportedly told that President Buhari is not against his aspiration but unhappy with the distractions that come with it&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The source told OpenLife the Osinbajo was handed options to consider in furtherance of his aspiration&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Among the options is the sacking of Senator Ojodu Femi&comma; an aide to Osinbajo who has been the arrow head of the campaign group&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Osibanjo was reportedly reminded that no presidential aide in the Villa has caused 2023  distractions like Ojodu&comma; an attitude the Presidency frowns at&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&&num;8220&semi;They may sack Ojodu this week&period; The Vice President does not really have problem with the President&period; The only worry is that he should have called them to order before now&comma; especially that Ojodu&comma;&&num;8221&semi; OpenLife source stated&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>However&comma; OpenLife learned that the Vice President promised to see the President on the matter&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>But as a first step&comma; he had to officially&comma; through his media assistant&comma; Laolu Akande&comma; caution his supporters on Monday saying&colon;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&&num;8220&semi;Any information on activities and actions of the VP will come directly from his office and not sponsored speculations in the press&period;”<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>As of the time of this report&comma; it was not clear if Osinbajo has meant the President<&sol;p>&NewLine;
