As a Commissioner of Justice and Attorney General of Lagos State, he demonstrated professionalism and ensured that the Tinubu’s administration did not derail on the legal highway in all its contentions with Obasanjo’s led federal government.<br />
It is on record that Lagos judiciary enjoyed infrastructural and welfare uplift during the tenure of Osinbajo.<br />
Probably for sheer co incidence of geography, his marriage to late Chief Obafemi Awolowo’s grand daughter turned out a huge plus in the process of getting the required victory votes in the southwest and beyond.<br />
That, in itself, strongly recommended him for the job.<br />
In the final analysis, no one can lay claim to making him a VP. A combination of various factors and interventions made Osinbajo the running mate to Buhari in 2014</p>
