WEMA Bank’s Hackaholics 3.0 To Commence Soon

<h4>&NewLine;WEMA Bank&&num;8217&semi;s Hackaholics 3&period;0<&sol;h4>&NewLine;<p><strong><a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;openlife&period;ng&sol;">OpenLife Nigeria<&sol;a><&sol;strong> reports that Nigeria’s first fully digital bank&comma; ALAT is set to unveil the third edition of Hackaholics &lpar;3&period;0&rpar; themed Building the Future&comma; a pitch event where innovators and tech enthusiasts are welcome to pitch groundbreaking solutions to some fundamental societal challenges&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The 2022 Hackaholics pitch event will be inviting applications from creative tertiary students and youth from every corner of the country who can exhibit&sol;present exciting solutions that can help deal with problems associated with Financial Inclusion&comma; MSMEs&comma; Healthtech&comma; and Lending&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>According to a statement from the bank&comma; the official call for entries will be announced by the bank on all its official social media accounts for candidates to apply and stand a chance to get funding for their solutions&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&&num;8220&semi;We are excited to announce that Hackaholics 2022 will commence in few weeks&period; This year&comma; we are looking for innovators and creative individuals with technological solutions that will meet immediate and future needs&&num;8221&semi;&comma; the statement said&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Hackaholics 2&period;0 with themed &&num;8220&semi;Connecting Worlds&&num;8221&semi; hosted in 2020&comma; recorded over 500 applications with only twenty&lpar;20&rpar; participants shortlisted for a final pitch&period; Ten&lpar;10&rpar; startups eventually qualified for the bootcamp hosted in early 2021&period; The finalists were drawn across five industry pillars &&num;8211&semi; <a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;punchng&period;com&sol;">Fintech&comma; Edutech&comma; Agritech&comma;<&sol;a> Gaming&comma; and Health tech&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Four&lpar;4&rpar; winners emerged after a four-week Bootcamp that featured a best-in-class acceleration curriculum delivered by seasoned faculties and tech specialists from GreenHouse Capital&comma; official partners for Hackaholics 2&period;0&period; The Bank presented the four&lpar;4&rpar; startups with N2&comma;187&comma;500&period;00 each as support funds in addition to other non-cash benefits to help scale their businesses at the end of the Bootcamp&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Wema Bank&&num;8217&semi;s <strong>Hackaholics<&sol;strong> program remains an annual technological skill exhibition aimed at supporting tech startups with both financial and non-financial resources needed to scale and gain entrance into their respective markets&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
