<h4>Uphold The Highest Standards Of Conduct</h4>

<p><strong><a href="https://openlife.ng/">OpenLife Nigeria</a></strong> reports that the Commissioner of Police, Police Special Fraud Unit Ikoyi-Lagos, CP Okunade Ronke Nurat, has emphasized the need for professionalism, civility, and accountability among Team Managers of the unit during a strategic meeting held on 30th April, 2025.</p>
<p>This admonition is contained in a statement signed by DSP Ovie Kenneth Ewhubare,<br />
Police Public Relations Officer in charge of<br />
Police Special Fraud Unit, Ikoyi-Lagos.</p>
<p>According to the statement, CP Nurat,<br />
in her address, charged all officers to uphold the highest standards of conduct in their interaction with members of the public.</p>
<p>She reiterated that civility and respect are non-negotiable traits for effective policing and public trust.</p>
<p>The Commissioner underscored the importance of respecting and protecting fundamental human rights as enshrined in Chapter IV of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999 (as amended).</p>
<p>She reminded officers on the need to ascertain the condition of suspects before and after detention in line with the provisions of section 8 of the Administration of Criminal Justice Act, 2015; as safeguarding these rights is sacrosanct to building public trust.</p>
<p>Highlighting the importance of accountability, CP Okunade Ronke Nurat, fsi, urged officers to take full responsibility of their actions and ensure close supervision of men working under them.</p>
<p>In her remarks, she stated that effective supervision improves discipline and enhances operational efficiency.</p>
<p>She concluded by reaffirming the Unit’s commitment to promoting integrity, responsiveness and accountability.</p>
