<p>Ukah Patrick, Delta State Commissioner for Education, has called for a strengthened Peoples&#8217; Democratic Party, PDP, in Delta North Senatorial District.</p>



<p>Ukah specifically called on stakeholders to synergize for unity in the party.</p>



<p>The <a href="http://www.thenationonlineng.net">Commissioner</a> made the call during an enlarged North Senatorial District leaders’ meeting in Ogwashi-Uku, Aniocha South Local Government.</p>



<p>He identified love and unity as veritable elements that could enhance the growth and development of the party.</p>



<p>Ukah Patrick urged political appointees in the <a href="https://openlife.ng/">Okowa&#8217;s administration</a> to ensure that the state government meets the yearnings of Deltans. He emphasized the importance of leaving behind endearing legacies for the overall well-being of Deltans and residents of the state.</p>



<p>In his remarks, Delta State Commissioner for Finance, Sir Fidelis Tilije, stressed the need for togetherness for the party.</p>



<p>Tilije added that Delta North <a href="https://openlife.ng/">PDP</a> would continue to be strengthened to consolidate on its dominance in the state.</p>



<p>Tilije noted that the Okowa administration has touched several lives through multiplicity of people-oriented policies and programmes since 2015.</p>



<p> Earlier, the Delta North Chairman of the party, Chief Moses Iduh, urged party faithful to always consult their leaders on all issues. He stressed the importance of oneness as a critical factor in engendering such a spirit of consultation. “We must try to consolidate the enviable position of the party in the state,” he said.</p>



<p><a href="https://openlife.ng/">Chief Iduh</a> also advocated for respect for leaders. “Respect is important for various national and state lawmakers, commissioners, local government chairmen and other political appointees,” he admonishes.</p>



<p>Iduh sued for cooperation among party faithful for electioneering victories especially now that the council election is nearer.</p>



<p>He stressed the need for various executive members in the local government areas to work harmoniously with their council chairmen.</p>
