The Next Best Thing To Happen In Imo State Is To Vote Martin Agbaso As Governor In 2027 – Chief Solomon Ogbonna Aguene, President, Ohanaeze Ndigbo Lagos

The Next Best Thing To Happen In Imo State

OpenLife News reports that the President of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Lagos, Chief Solomon Ogbonna Aguene, has called on the people of Imo State to vote for Chief Martin Agbaso as governor in the 2027 elections.

Agbaso is the governorship candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Coalition, NDC, in Imo State.

Speaking in an exclusive chat with OpenLife News on Tuesday morning, Chief Aguene described Agbaso as “the next best thing that will happen to Imo State and Imo people from 2027.”

He urged all voters and stakeholders to rally around the former aide to ex-President <strong>Olusegun Obasanjo.

He Will Make Imo Like Hong Kong or Stockholm

Chief Aguene said he just returned from the East where he spent time with Agbaso in his country home in Owerri.

“I can tell you authoritatively that Martin Agbaso is the best man for the job and the best thing that will happen to Imo State from 2027,” he said.

He described Agbaso’s residence as “an expansive masterpiece” that defines cleanliness.

“The landscaping, including trees and gardens will convince anyone that when Agbaso becomes governor from 2027, he will make Imo State look like Hong Kong in China or Stockholm in Sweden in terms of environmental redefinition which can guarantee good health, social revitalization and economic harmony,” Aguene stated.

A Man Of Peace And Humility

The foremost art collector described Agbaso as a humble man who respects both the rich and the poor and does not believe in class.

“He is very humble and he is also a man of peace. It was because of his love for peaceful co existence that he did not escalate issues when he was denied his 2007 governorship mandate.

“Even though he challenged the case in court, he was nonetheless cautious of peace,” he said.

According to Aguene, “Obviously, Agbaso won that election but he allowed peace to reign because he loves Imo people and he wouldn’t like killings.”

He added that Agbaso is “well educated and well travelled. He is well experienced in democratic governance. He is a successful businessman and a family man to the core.”

Give Me 10 Reasons Why Agbaso Should Not Be Supported

Chief Aguene challenged opponents of Agbaso’s ambition to provide reasons why he should not be voted for.

“If there are people who are against his ambition, I challenge them to give me 10 reasons why Agbaso should not be supported with votes to become the next governor of Imo State.

“I need 10 reasons from anyone because there are 10 Commandments in the Bible which, if not obeyed, will send someone to hell fire. So, I am not sure even people from opposition can provide 10 reasons because Agbaso is good. I therefore call on Ndi Imo to vote for him,” he said.

Ohanaeze Honoured Him As ‘Ochoudo’

As President of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Lagos, Aguene said Agbaso has demonstrated the Igbo spirit without fear or favour.

“He is a man of truth and he says things the way they are. It was because of these sterling qualities that Ohanaeze Ndigbo crowned him as ‘Ochoudo.’ Over 25,000 people were in attendance at the National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos,” he recalled.

He also spoke on his leadership of Ndigbo in Lagos, saying: “Ndigbo in Lagos is very difficult to manage but I excelled and provided leadership. That is why when people talk about leadership today, they mention my name. I spent 8 years to put things in perspective. Leadership is by birth.”

“When people like us are recommending Agbaso, we know exactly what we are talking about. So, Imo people should count themselves lucky for having a son like Agbaso and they should support his governorship ambition 100 percent,” Aguene concluded.
