Viral video alleges fake DNA centers were provided for Mohbad’s son Liam’s paternity test

OpenLife News reports that Fresh controversy has erupted in the ongoing paternity saga involving the late singer, Mohbad, as new allegations claim that his wife, Omawunmi Aloba, alongside the court, allegedly provided “fake” DNA centers for the paternity test of their son, Liam.
The claims surfaced in a viral video shared by Martins Vincent Otse, populary known as VeryDarkMan, a Nigerian influencer and content creator who leads a group of online followers called Ratel Movement and has since sparked outrage and heated debates across social media.
In the video now circulating online, it was alleged that instead of using independent and accredited DNA facilities, Wunmi and representatives of the court directed the process to questionable centers.
Critics argue that this move raises serious questions about the credibility and transparency of the paternity test process for baby Liam.

“The centers they provided are not recognized. How can we trust the results?” one commenter in the video stated.
Following the release of the video, #JusticeForMohbad and #DNAForLiam have started trending again on X and TikTok, with fans demanding an independent, court-supervised DNA test in a reputable facility.
Many believe the paternity question must be settled transparently to honor Mohbad’s memory and protect the child’s future.
Since Mohbad’s death in September 2023, the issue of his son Liam’s paternity has been a major point of contention between the singer’s family and his wife Wunmi.
The Aloba family has repeatedly called for a DNA test, while Wunmi’s camp has insisted on due process through the court.
As of press time, neither Wunmi nor the court has officially responded to the new allegations in the viral video.
