Segun Osoba And 2023 Moves

Segun Osoba has begun a move for 2023 presidential interest
OpenLife Nigeria has that that high flying former governor of Ogun State, Segun Osoba has begun moves for the actualization of the presidential interest of Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Ahmed Tinubu was a former governor of Lagos State between 1999 and 2007 and he is currently the national leader of the All progressives Congress, APC.
The two times governor of Ogun, OpenLife Nigeria gathers, is not leaving any stone unturned as far as the presidential aspiration of Tinubu is concerned.
Credible sources confided in OpenLife Nigeria that among the first set of reliable friends Tinubu consulted for his 2023 presidential aspiration, outside his wife, was Segun Osoba.
“Despite the fact that Tinubu has money, he knows that Segun Osoba has more credibility. So, he decided to enlist his supports to lure critical stakeholders within the polity,” the source stated.
Once the agreement between the two former Alliance for Democracy governors was struck, OpenLife Nigeria learned that Segun Osoba swung into action.
“He has started reaching out and he has made so much success. There is an increasing buy-in into Tinubu’s aspiration,” OpenLife Nigeria was told.
However, Segun Osoba appears to be deploying his age long political formula of “networking without being notice.”
The “networking without being notice” OpenLife Nigeria gathered involves an under ground moves and visits to those who can oil any political venture.
According to our source, the octogenarian had deployed same formula in 2011 when he campaigned for ex governor Ibikunle Amosun in Ogun State.
At that time, he was never seen in any public rally but he was always visiting and getting in touch with political fiefs at odd times for supports. The strategy paid off and Amosun won.
“What you saw in Ogun State is the handiwork of Segun Osoba. The declaration of supports by Olu of Ilaro and Paramount ruler of Yewaland, Oba Kehinde Olugbenle as well as the Alake and Paramount ruler of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Gbadebo were as a result of Osoba’s political marketing for Tinubu,” the source disclosed adding that the Senator Dayo Adeyeye led team that made public showing of the support on Monday when they visited Ogun Satte were only completing the ceremonious aspect of the deal.
Further, OpenLife Nigeria was told that a meeting between General Ibrahim Babangida, ret’d, for military President and Segun Osoba has been fixed for middle of March.
“There is a meeting between IBB and Segun Osoba by middle of March. If Osoba succeeds in getting Tinubu’s buy-in, then, his support camp would have swelled considerably,” the source hinted.
It would be recalled
Former minister of state for Defence, Musiliu Obanikoro and other staunch supporters, recently in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, inaugurated a presidential campaign movement for Bola Tinubu.
The movement was tagged “The South-West Agenda (SWAGA)” in readiness for the 2023 presidency.
