OpenLife Nigeria reports that Nollywood actress Biodun Okeowo has slammed rumors linking her to Lizzy Anjorin, saying, “That person has NEVER been my friend. We were never friends in real life.”
She explained she stays cordial with all colleagues but has no close friends in the industry.
Recalling their only collaboration, she said,
“So we had no fight or whatever, we were cool… how will I just jump and fight her because she had a fight with another colleague?”
On staying neutral, she stressed, “Choosing not to take sides has been my way of life… I don’t encourage anyone to inherit even my own enmity.”
Biodun also shut down false claims about her kids:
“How could someone claim she was fighting for me yet push several false narratives, including that my children have different fathers… Let me state it clearly: my children are from the same father. They are both OKEOWO.”
On social media drama, she added, “My likes on her posts were never to support fights. I detest curses… The posts I engaged with were normal posts made out of social media courtesy and reciprocation.”
She concluded firmly:
“Before dropping the pen, I’m stating this clearly: we are not friends, never been. We were colleagues.”
Biodun Okeowo’s statement leaves no room for doubt she and Lizzy Anjorin were never friends, she rejects online curses, and her children’s paternity is clear.
The actress stands firm, calling for truth and neutrality in Nollywood drama.
