OpenLife Nigeria reports that popular streamer Peller has publicly accused online commentator Naijashimadun of turning against him after he rejected a political proposal ahead of the 2027 elections.
During a livestream, Peller revealed that Naijashimadun allegedly approached his team with a financial offer to get him to join a political party. But the TikTok star made it clear he wasn’t interested.
“That Naijashimadun man is not a good person. He spoilt my name and talked bad about me online just because he reached out to me to join a political party and I declined. I don’t want to involve myself in politics.
Since that time, he had been angry with me. It was today I saw his political poster. I have blocked him everywhere. He really ridiculed me online,” Peller said.
The tension resurfaced after Peller spotted a campaign poster showing Naijashimadun backing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election bid.
The poster identified him as a Houston coordinator for RTIFN, an APC support group.
Peller insists his refusal to step into politics is the real reason behind the online attacks and says he wants no part in the political game.
