Japanese Government Supports Each Youth With ¥100,000

Japanese Government Supports

OpenLife Nigeria has gathered that Japanese Government has earmarked several billion dollars to support its youth with each expected to receive ¥100,000, the equivalent of $880.
Japanese Prime Minister, Fumio Kishida, who made this disclosure stated that the “Government will distribute 100,000 yen ($880) in cash, vouchers or a combination of both to those 18 years or younger and make it a pillar of an economic stimulus package planned to be created by the end of November.”
The stimulus package is coming closely behind when the government announced on Friday that it will begin accepting foreign nationals coming to the country for business trips, study abroad or technical training starting from Monday, November 8, 2021.
The move represents a major policy change for Japan, since it has essentially been prohibiting arrivals by foreign nationals, except for residents re-entering the country, due to the pandemic.
The shift comes as Japan apparently seeks to boost international business exchanges now that the fifth COVID-19 wave has been stamped out and over 70% of the population is fully vaccinated.
Those arriving in Japan for short business trips will only be required to quarantine for three days if they have received one of the vaccines that Japan has approved — Pfizer, Moderna or AstraZeneca.
