<h4>&OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;I Can’t Do That At 48” — Roby Ekpo Speaks On Ex-Wife’s Intimacy Demands<&sol;h4>&NewLine;<p>&nbsp&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&nbsp&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong><a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;openlife&period;ng&sol;">OpenLife<&sol;a><&sol;strong> reports that Roby Ekpo has opened up about tensions in his past marriage&comma; speaking frankly about what he describes as mismatched expectations around intimacy&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>According to him&comma; one of the major issues that created friction was the demand placed on him by his ex-wife regarding how often they were expected to be intimate&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>He explained that&comma; at his age&comma; keeping up with a daily routine was not something he could realistically sustain&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;I can’t do that at 48&comma;” he said&comma; referring to the expectation of daily sexual activity&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>He noted that while he understands the importance of closeness in a relationship&comma; there has to be a balance that works for both partners without pressure becoming overwhelming&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Roby added that his personal comfort level was far from what was being requested&period; In his view&comma; intimacy a couple of times a week was more reasonable&comma; especially considering the natural changes that come with age and lifestyle&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Beyond the issue of intimacy&comma; he also responded to concerns raised about his online behavior&period; His ex-wife had allegedly questioned his interactions with younger women on social media&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Addressing this&comma; he explained that being active online often exposes him to unsolicited messages and attention&comma; particularly after relocating to Lagos&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>He suggested that some of those interactions may have been misread or taken out of context&comma; emphasizing that not every message or conversation implies wrongdoing&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Overall&comma; Roby maintained that he had tried to manage the relationship responsibly&comma; even when expectations became difficult to meet&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;

Nollywood Actress, Shine Rosman, Raises Alarm Over Alleged Sexual Harassment In Lagos OpenLife reports that Nollywood actress Shine Rosman has spoken about what she describes as ongoing incidents of sexual harassment affecting women in parts of Lagos, particularly in Yaba. She said the issue is widely known among residents but remains unaddressed. “Do you know how bad sexual harrssment is in Lagos? Like go to Yaba, as a girl and see how you will be touched inappropriately. Everybody hearing this knows that it is true. But till today, nothing is being done about it.” She described what she claims are repeated incidents of inappropriate contact in public spaces without consequences for those responsible. “You’re walking in Yaba and people are touching you inappropriately and nothing will happen.” Rosman questioned the absence of effective intervention and raised concerns about personal safety in such environments. “If the government is not going to do anything, is it not ok for us to defend ourselves? In 2026, in a country like Nigeria, s+xual har+ssment is still one of the most passive things.” She also raised concerns about the implications of such behaviour occurring in open public spaces. “If a man can s+xually h+rass you casually during the day, what do you think he can do behind closed doors when no one is looking?”. The comments were made during an interview with Tolu Afilaka, where she discussed women’s safety in public areas of Lagos.
