OpenLife News reports that Apostle Akintayo Kayode Samuel, popularly known as Omoluabi, has been elected as the new Chairman of the Okota Zone of the Estate, Rent and Commission Agents Association of Nigeria (ERCAAN).

His emergence followed a peaceful and successful election held during the association’s 9th Annual General Meeting (AGM) at the Ukpo Multipurpose Hall, Ago-Okota, Isolo, Lagos State.

Other officers elected to serve alongside him for a four-year term are Mr. Emeka Nwachukwu as Secretary; Mr. Onyeka Okafor, Assistant Secretary; Mr. Aliku Louis, Financial Secretary; Mr. Kingsley Ogbonna, Public Relations Officer; Mr. Simon Opara, Provost; Mrs. Blessing Chibig, Welfare Officer; and Mrs. Iyabo V. Aseri, Treasurer.

The newly elected executives were sworn in by the National President of ERCAAN, Hon. Godwin Alenkhe, at the well-attended meeting.

In his inaugural address, Apostle Akintayo described his election as a call to service and pledged to work harmoniously with other members of the executive to reposition the zone for greater efficiency and growth.

He assured members that his administration would be guided by the fear of God, transparency, accountability and the highest standards of integrity, while prioritizing the collective welfare and interests of members.

The new chairman further solicited the cooperation, unity and unwavering support of all members, noting that the success of his administration would depend largely on collective commitment and shared vision.

The AGM was graced by dignitaries, family members, friends and associates of the newly elected executives, including renowned journalist, Elder Akin Kuponiyi; businessman, Mr. Joe Kpovit; and Mrs. Akintayo, popularly known as Mama Timilehin.

The event concluded on a celebratory note, with members and guests extending goodwill messages to the new leadership and expressing optimism about a progressive future for the Okota Zone under Apostle Akintayo’s chairmanship.
