OpenLife Nigeria reports that football is one of the sports that are totally unpredictable yet Primate Elija Ayodele, leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has proven that statement wrong with his prophetic giant stride on sports. He has been doing it in the past but his prophecies on the ongoing African Cup of Nations (AFCON) speaks more volume.
The first prophecy Primate Ayodele made concerning AFCON is the fate of the Super Eagles of Nigeria in the tournament. Primate Ayodele was asked about their fate during the release of his new year prophecy on Wednesday, 22nd of December, 2021 and he emphatically said ‘’Super Eagles are going nowhere in AFCON’’.
At that time, AFCON had not started but most people saw Super Eagles as the most formidable team due to the calibre of players in the squad. During their first three games, they performed well and won all of them yet Primate Ayodele stood by his word.
Unfortunately, they were sent out of the tournament at the knock-out stage by Tunisia who were even weaker than the super eagles in all ramifications.
This development shook most people as many never expected Super Eagles to lose cheaply but the word of the Lord has to come to pass, no matter how.
Meanwhile, Primate Ayodele didn’t stop at the prophecy on Super Eagles. In the prophetic statement he released, the man of God stated the countries that will get to the final stage of the competition.
He mentioned Cameroun, Egypt, Senegal, Ghana, Mali, Nigeria and Tunisia as countries that are close to the cup if they listen to instructions. Yesterday, the last Semi-Final was held and Egypt won by penalty shoot-out at the detriment of the host nation, Cameroun. Earlier, Senegal won Burkina Faso to qualify for the final, fulfilling Primate Ayodele’s prophecy on countries that are close to the cup.
