How Chief Martin Agbaso Is Damaging NDC’s Progress In Imo State—Uche Nwole

OpenLife Nigeria reports that Imo State born businessman and politician, Chief Martin Agbaso has been accused of incapacitating the prospects and growth of newly formed Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC by Dr. Uche Nwole.

Uche Nwole is currently vying for the Imo East Senatorial District seat in the 2027 elections.

However and according to the narratives of the former member of the House of Representatives, the primary election process has faced disputes.

Nwole and other aspirants are alleging that the party structure was hijacked and manipulated.

Specifically, Uche Nwole has accused powerful interests within the party of hijacking its structure and manipulating the outcome of its primary elections.

Speaking Thursday morning on Arise TV, Nwole accused Martin Agbaso of the arrow head of the syndicate destroying the party.

“Agbaso has boasted that he has bought the party,” implying that he has the final say on who becomes what in the party in the state against democratic norms.

“He said that he will write the structure of my Local Government Area. I have my recorded evidence,” Nwole stated.

Accordingly, Nwole disclosed that a petition has been submitted to the party’s national leadership in Abuja, warning that the development could undermine the NDC’s prospects ahead of the 2027 general elections.
