Honourable Tsekiri Commends Okowa For Science-Base Skill Capacity Development

&NewLine;<p>Honourable Tsekiri Matthew&comma; Commissioner for Science and Technology in Delta State&comma;  has commended governor Okowa for <a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;openlife&period;ng&sol;">science-base<&sol;a> skill capacity development&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>The commendation came on the heels of Okowa’s determined efforts in developing science based skills in Delta State&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>Honourable Tsekiri made this known while speaking with news men in his office in Asaba on the activities in his ministry&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p> The commissioner said to increase science-based skill capacity <a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;openlife&period;ng&sol;">development<&sol;a>&comma; there is need for ingenious inventions and innovations through technology incubations&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>The Commissioner stressed that every sector of the society requires science in the pursuit of economic growth and sustainable development&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>He pointed out that science and technology nurtures and accelerates growth in the industrial&comma; medical technology&comma; agriculture and other sectors&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>&OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;These are the new employment avenues for youths through scientific innovations&comma; <a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;openlife&period;ng&sol;">wealth creation&comma;<&sol;a> reduction of poverty&comma;” he said&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>He further recognised the role of scientific knowledge in sustainable developments&period; This&comma; he said&comma; drives innovation and science initiatives across economies&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>Above all&comma; the <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;thisdaylive&period;com">commissioner <&sol;a>said science and technology will add immense value to education&comma; health&comma; agricultural and entertainment sectors&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
