<p>Honourable Tsekiri Matthew, Commissioner for Science and Technology in Delta State, has commended governor Okowa for <a href="https://openlife.ng/">science-base</a> skill capacity development.</p>



<p>The commendation came on the heels of Okowa’s determined efforts in developing science based skills in Delta State.</p>



<p>Honourable Tsekiri made this known while speaking with news men in his office in Asaba on the activities in his ministry.</p>



<p> The commissioner said to increase science-based skill capacity <a href="https://openlife.ng/">development</a>, there is need for ingenious inventions and innovations through technology incubations.</p>



<p>The Commissioner stressed that every sector of the society requires science in the pursuit of economic growth and sustainable development.</p>



<p>He pointed out that science and technology nurtures and accelerates growth in the industrial, medical technology, agriculture and other sectors.</p>



<p>“These are the new employment avenues for youths through scientific innovations, <a href="https://openlife.ng/">wealth creation,</a> reduction of poverty,” he said.</p>



<p>He further recognised the role of scientific knowledge in sustainable developments. This, he said, drives innovation and science initiatives across economies.</p>



<p>Above all, the <a href="http://www.thisdaylive.com">commissioner </a>said science and technology will add immense value to education, health, agricultural and entertainment sectors.</p>
