<h4>Governor Buni Is Improving The Standards Of Education In Yobe<&sol;h4>&NewLine;<p>By Hamisu Ado Nguru<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong><a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;openlife&period;ng&sol;">OpenLife Nigeria<&sol;a> <&sol;strong>reports that the Commissioner&comma; Ministry For Basic and Secondary Education&comma; Dr Muhammad Sani Idris&comma; has said that Governor Mai Mala Buni’s administration is committed to addressing challenges in the educational sector&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The Commissioner disclosed further that the governor is attending to out-of-school children menace&comma; improving learning outcomes&comma; ensure growth&comma; and development of the upcoming generation&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&&num;8220&semi;As a matter of urgency&comma; all the executive secretaries of agencies and 17 education secretaries of Local Education Authorities &lpar;LEA&rpar; under the Ministry should sit up to their responsibilities&comma;&&num;8221&semi; Dr&period; Idris said&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>He gave the warning during the State Education Council meeting held in Damaturu which bring together all the stakeholders within the sector&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The commissioner charged them to be up and doing and avoid negligence advised them to discharge their duties diligently&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>He said&comma; &&num;8221&semi; the State Government would provide an enabling environment for the Education Secretaries to do the right things at the right time&period;&&num;8221&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>On his part&comma; the Special Adviser on Basic and Secondary Education to the Governor Mai Mala Buni&comma; Honourable Mohammed Lamin stated that &&num;8221&semi; the current administration in the state would not tolerate incompetent Education Secretary&&num;8217&semi;s failure to do the needful at any given time&period;&&num;8221&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
