<h4>Governor Abiodun To Fill Up Vacancies In Ogun Civil Service<&sol;h4>&NewLine;<p><strong><a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;openlife&period;ng&sol;">OpenLife Nigeria<&sol;a><&sol;strong> reports that the Chairman&comma; Ogun State Civil Service Commission &lpar;CSC&rpar;&comma; Engr&period; Tokunbo Odebunmi says the Prince Dapo Abiodun-led administration will continue to ensure prompt recruitment into the State Civil Service to fill up available vacancies&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;Odebunmi stated this in an interview with journalists at the Staff Development Centre&comma; Abeokuta&comma; while monitoring the Public Service Entrance Examination for candidates seeking employment into the post of State Counsel&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;Odebunmi&comma; who was quoted by his Press Officer&comma; Mrs&period; Fatimah Alatishe&comma; noted that the present government had been filling up the vacancies in the different cadres of the Civil Service through recruitments&comma; inter-cadre and inter-service transfers&comma; as well as upgrading of Civil Servants&comma; adding such vacancies were created due to retirement and resignation of some officers&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;The Chairman pointed out that the recruitment of the State Counsel being the second to be conducted by the present administration&comma; would be based on merit&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;Also speaking&comma; the Permanent Secretary in the Commission&comma; Mr&period; Adedayo Somoye said the examination was to absorb fresh Counsels into the Ministry of Justice&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;In their separate remarks&comma; Commissioners III and IV in CSC&comma; <a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;vanguardngr&period;com&sol;">Hon&period; Gabriel Falola and Alhaji Yusuf Adegbenro<&sol;a> respectively assured that the government would provide more jobs for the people&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;Speaking on behalf of the candidates&comma; Mr&period; Olayinka Komolafe&comma; who is visually impaired said he was optimistic that the examination would pave the way for them to work in the State Civil Service&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&nbsp&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
