The sole decision taken by some teacher unions to advising the government to close down schools again, just after few hours of reopening of schools is just unfortunate and uncouth.

The Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT) has in a release thrown its weight behind various institutions calling for re-closure of basic schools due to lack of personal protective Equipments, PPE,s.

Contrary to their request and recommendation, the Ghana National Council of private schools, GNACOPS warns and  has firmly and strongly spoken against re-closure of schools since private schools in the country are ready and have the expertise to manage the current situation.
