OpenLife reports that Nollywood actor Nwaogu Udochukwu Victor, famously known as Nkubi, has finally joined the floral club much to the delight of his wife and fans.
Only days ago, the actor made headlines when he admitted in an interview that he had never bought flowers for his wife, claiming it wasn’t part of African tradition.
“As Africans, we don’t do flowers,” he had said, sparking sharp criticism online.
It seems Nkubi has reconsidered. His wife took to Instagram to share the thoughtful gesture, captioning her post:
“Udochukwu, my lovely husband, has finally bought me natural flowers.”
Adding a personal, romantic touch, Nkubi left a note that melted hearts:
“To my Adorable wife, You are as beautiful as these flowers.”
Fans have since praised the actor for showing a softer, more affectionate side, proving that love sometimes blossoms in unexpected ways.
