END SARS PROTEST: Don’t cross the red line, Enwonwu warns Oyo protesters

&NewLine;<p>End SARS Protesters in Oyo State have been warned not to cross the red line&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>The warning came as a result of <a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;nytimes&period;com">intelligent reports<&sol;a> available to the Command that protesters may unleash terror on innocent citizens&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>According to the Oyo Police Command spokesman&comma; Superintendent Fadeyi Gbenga&comma; &OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;The Commissioner of Police&comma; Oyo State Command&comma; Joe Nwachukwu Enwonwu&comma; &nbsp&semi;wishes to state that since the commencement of the protest on &&num;8220&semi;EndSARS&comma;&&num;8221&semi; the Command has been cooperating with the youths who has been protesting in Oyo State&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>&OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;The CP wishes to appreciate all those who has been carrying out the protest within the ambient of the law&period; But the protest is taking a new dimension&period; Protesters are mapping out new strategy to carry out coordinated attacks on innocent citizens&comma;&nbsp&semi; Police stations and personnel&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>&OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;As a result&comma; the CP enjoins parents&comma; guardian&comma; traditional rulers&comma; community and religious&nbsp&semi; leaders to caution their children&period; Wards should desist from act&lpar;s&rpar; that can be inimical to our cooperate interest&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>&OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;The Command is battle-ready to curtail excesses&period; Disgruntled elements and  social miscreants amongst End SARS protesters will not be allowed to unleash mayhem on innocent citizens&period; There are proper ways to channel grievances&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>&OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;CP Enwonwu assures the good people of <a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;openlife&period;ng&sol;">Oyo State<&sol;a> to go about their lawful businesses without fear or molestations&period; For maximum safety of all and sundry&comma; adequate security measures have been emplaced&period;&period;”<&sol;p>&NewLine;
