<p>The singer, who was nominated alongside fellow Nigerian stars Burna Boy and Ayra Starr, watched South African artist Tyla take home the award for Best African Music Performance. The ceremony took place on Sunday, February 1, in Los Angeles.</p>
<p>Despite not securing the win, Davido took to social media to share moments from the event, posting photos with Chioma and his longtime manager, Asa Asika. In his caption, he made it clear that the outcome didn’t shake his spirit.</p>
<p>Davido revealed that he had initially considered skipping the Grammys entirely, feeling certain he wouldn’t win. But Chioma persuaded him to attend, offering words that clearly stuck with him.</p>
<p>“I said, baby, listen, we lost again, let’s not go! She said, ‘Be humble in victory and gracious in defeat, we outside,’” he recalled.<br />
The singer continued to honor his wife on Instagram Stories, describing her as his steadfast support system.</p>
<p>“My ride or die! She dey my back! Active Gang @thechefchi,” he wrote.</p>
<p>Fans have long admired Davido and Chioma’s relationship, which is often highlighted by their affectionate online moments.</p>
