<p>The singer, who was nominated alongside fellow Nigerian stars Burna Boy and Ayra Starr, watched South African artist Tyla take home the award for Best African Music Performance. The ceremony took place on Sunday, February 1, in Los Angeles.</p>

The singer continued to honor his wife on Instagram Stories, describing her as his steadfast support system.</p>
