<p>The Nigerian Breweries Plc donated some relief materials to members of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Ogun State Council at the Iwe Iroyin Secretariat, Oke Ilewo to further cushion the effects of the covid-19 pandemic.</p>



<p> ;the Corporate Affairs Manager (South West) of the company, Mr Tayo Adelaja said the company appreciates the cordial relationship between the two organisations, adding that the relief packages is a way to further say &#8216;thank you&#8217; to Journalists in the state</p>



<p>In his words, &#8220;on behalf of the management and staff of Nigeria Breweries Plc, I wish to thank you for your partnership, support and coverage of all our initiatives across the country&#8221;</p>

<p>The Chairman, Caretaker Committee of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Ogun State Council, Mrs Omolola Adeyinka who received the items on behalf of the members, thank the company for remembering Journalists in the state at this trying times</p>



<p>She further reiterates the commitment of members of the Union on objectives reportage of all activities of the company when called upon, adding that with the kind gestures, the relationship between the two organisations can only be stronger.</p>



<p>She therefore used the opportunity to call on other well meaning companies to assist Journalists in the state especially with the fight against covid-19 raging on.</p>
