COVID-19: Donkor Jill intensifies personal hygiene campaign, supports Ahenboboano constituents

A benevolent Assembly Member, Hon. Nana Yaw Donkor Jill of Ahenboboano Electoral Area, in the Ahafo Regional Capital – Goaso, under the Asunafo North Constituency, has shown true love to his people at this pernicious hours of Covid 19 by donating  some relief materials like, medicated soaps, tissues, buckets etc to the people of Ahenboboano.

The Assemblyman has also set up washing stands at  vantage points in the area to enable citizens access running water for hygienic needs as a precautionary measure in combating COVID 19.

A statement available to OpenLife, sourced from  Francis Agyapong Nimpong, stated that Donkor Jill urged the public to intensify their personal hygiene, make good use of the materials he has provided and shy away from all forms of fear and rumours on the virus. He reiterated on a rounded pricket that, they have to be bold and come out to inform authorities when there is any suspected case in the area and their identity will not be disclosed.

He therefore, cautioned traders who have intentionally created an artificial shortage of hand sanitizers to desist from such unpatriotic actions.

“This is the time Ghanaian traders have to show compassion by reducing their sanitizers to the lowest price so that the impoverished ones can afford it and protect themselves,” he stressed.

The honourable member appreciated the media for their massive education on the Corona virus even as members of the area were so happy for the donation and entreated him to do more.

The Paramount chief of Goaso Traditional Council, Nana Kwasi Bosompra commended the Assemblyman for his supports to the people.

The deadly virus has put the whole world into a total pool of dilemma by killing over 3,000 people in China, 4’089 in Spain, 7, 000 in Italy, 400 in USA, 3 in Ghana, 600 in France etc. The Director General of the World Health Organisation.
