Collapse Of Ajao Estate Eze In Court: Chief Solomon Aguene, President Ohanaeze Ndigbo Lagos, Continues To Plead With Sanwo-Olu For Ngwe Nwajagu’s Release

Collapse Of Ajao Estate Eze In Court

OpenLife Nigeria reports that Chief Solomon Ogbonna Aguene, President, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Lagos State, has , once again, appealed to Lagos State governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, to release the detained Eze Ndigbo of Ajao Estate, Eze Ngwe Fred Nwajagu.

The Ajao Estate Eze was detained over a statement considered to be security risk to government. In an exclusive interview with OpenLife, Chief Aguene pointed out that Eze Ngwe Fred Nwajagu appears to be managing his health, a development that led to his sudden fall during his trial in a Lagos Court recently.

He therefore appeals to Sanwo-Olu to release him to Ndigbo, saying that should the Eze die in prison custody, lots of people would read ethic meaning to it.

Eze Ndigbo of Ajao Estate, Eze Ngwe Fred Nwajagu.

Information available to OpenLife indicates that Eze Ngwe Fred Nwajagu The Eze of Ajao Estate collapsed in the court during trial on October 4.  As the President, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Lagos State, what are your comments?

Yes, I was there. Everybody in the court witnessed it. That is why I continue to pray for peace. I am also pleading with His Excellency, Governor Babajide Sanwo Olu to release the Eze on compassionate ground especially because of his ill health.

The truth is that whatever the Eze has said as a comment, he lacks the capacity to implement it because he does not have any agreement with any group. He does not even have any connection with IPOB or any Igbo group to carry our such mission.

War is not about “I want to go.” But it is about “Let us go.”

The import of what I have just said is that nobody fights alone and comes back with victory.

Also, no country exposes its strategy before going to war to meet opponent. If any country or tribe does that , they would lose the war.

So, Eze Nwajagu cannot fight any battle of any kind. He cannot even disrupt the peace of Lagos because he does not have the capacity. He is alone.

He never knew that his careless comment would bring him this kind of trouble. Mr. Governor, Eze Nwajagu has realized his mistakes.

All Igbo communities in Lagos have expressed their anger over the comment he made which is not healthy to any of us. Ndigbo are law abiding citizens and we remain law abiding.

Ndigbo invests to develop any where they reside without thinking of any danger.
Please, Mr Governor, the collapse of Eze Ngwe Fred Nwajagu, Eze Ndigbo Ajao Estate in the court is a dangerous signal.

Eze Ndigbo of Ajao Estate, Eze Ngwe Fred Nwajagu.

There is one proverb in Igbo land which says that the day motor kills a mad man , everyone around will know that he has a family .

I don’t want any one to accuse you because this is something that is not personal.

You are a good man and you love Ndigbo. You are a tested and confirmed leader by I, Chief Solomon, Ogbonna Aguene, President , Ohanaeze Ndigbo Lagos State from 2019 when I started following you during the campaigns to be governor till date and still counting.

In my presence, when Eze Ngwe Fred Nwajagu collapsed on October 4 and hit his head on the witness box in the court, I felt threatened. I felt the devil wants to trigger a crises that will last for years. No trouble is small.

If Saddam Hussein, former President of Iraq is alive today, he will tell you that every human being has limitations no matter the power, contact and amount of money in dollars and pounds one has.
A small mistake could make a person to regret.

For example, the case of Nnamdi Kanu is completely different from this Ajao Estate Eze especially because he has no single follower.

If Nnamdi Kanu comes out today and makes any move, I can assure you that 95 percent of youths would like to touch him just like Michael Jackson’s crowd in the 90s.

Besides, I can confirm to Governor Sanwo-Olu that Eze Ngwe Fred Nwajagu has no matchet let alone a gun.
So, what is the effect of his comment?

Mr. Governor, please, kindly release him to us, Ndigbo. Do not listen to advise that are not healthy, in which case, some would tell you that there is no problem irrespective of what may happen.

35 years ago, you did not know that you would be governor. So, you don’t know the height God is taking you to in future. You might become the President of Nigeria in years to come and you would still need us because we are your friends.

What makes a good leader is a leader who does not segregate between the poor and the rich.
What makes President Bola Ahmed Tinubu great is because of his philanthropist nature and the progress recorded at the grass roots since he became a leader.

Eze Ndigbo of Ajao Estate, Eze Ngwe Fred Nwajagu.

Those whose family are labelled as no body have today become somebody because of Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

That is why he has his own political empire that the people he has touched their lives from grass to grace are still loyal till date and still counting.

God Almighty neither grant mercy by looking at status of either poor or rich nor his son, Jesus Christ.
Therefore, a good Christian should emulate that.

Please sir, release him for us. I know you are the only one who can command such power of his release.
No one else. It will be a great legacy for you.
