Citizens lambast Buhari’s aide, Ita Enang, over de marketing statements on radio

&NewLine;<p class&equals;"wp-block-paragraph">Citizens across of Akwa Ibom State have lambasted Senator Ita Enang over what they called de marketing statements on a radio programme&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p class&equals;"wp-block-paragraph">The citizen registered their grievances on Saturday&comma; September 26&comma; during a phone-in radio programme in Uyo&comma; Akwa Ibom capital city&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p class&equals;"wp-block-paragraph">Citizens felt that statements made by Enang&comma; <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;thisdaylive&period;com">President Muhammadu Buhar<&sol;a>i’s aide on Niger Delta Affairs&comma; were de marketing in content and scope&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p class&equals;"wp-block-paragraph">One of the callers&comma; Engr Ubok-Abasi from Ibiono&comma; chided Ita Enang for his incessant criticism of the present administration&period; He wondered why Ita Enang chose the State’s 33<sup>rd<&sol;sup> celebration as the best time for verbal wars and outbursts&period; Ubok-Abasi challenged the former Senator &nbsp&semi;to point at one thing he has achieved &nbsp&semi;for the State in his official capacity&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p class&equals;"wp-block-paragraph">Rather than join efforts &nbsp&semi;with state leaders to fast rack &nbsp&semi;Akwa Ibom’s development&comma; the caller frowned at Enang’s &nbsp&semi;demarketing mindset&period; The act&comma; he emphasized&comma; was detrimental to the progress of Akwa Ibom&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<h2 class&equals;"wp-block-heading"><strong>CALLERS LAMBAST<&sol;strong><&sol;h2>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p class&equals;"wp-block-paragraph">Another caller&comma; Iboro Etim&comma; recalled <a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;openlife&period;ng&sol;">Ita Enang’s<&sol;a> and other APC leader’s several petitions against Governor Udom Emmanuel’s developmental initiatives&period; He wondered how the antagonists hoped to bring about development&comma; progress and unity by such attitudes&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p class&equals;"wp-block-paragraph">Mkpat Enin&comma; another caller&comma; expressed bitterness at Ita Enang’s pathetic outbusts&period; He recalled how he bit <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;thenationonlineng&period;net">Senator John Udoedehe&&num;8217&semi;s<&sol;a> fingers over similar anti State attitudes at the 2019 APC primaries&period; He further accused him of being a womanizer&period; The callers unanimously lambasted Enang&&num;8217&semi;s constant satanic outbursts&period; &OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;Even if the intension is to generate sympathy for 2023 governorship&comma; it is a wrong step in the right direction&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p class&equals;"wp-block-paragraph">&&num;8220&semi;If he&&num;8217&semi;s going for Governor&comma; he should use the conventional channel of communication to reach the people&period; He should not hide behind radio programmes to belittle the government &&num;8220&semi;&comma; he said&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p class&equals;"wp-block-paragraph">The citizens &nbsp&semi;also recalled how &nbsp&semi;&nbsp&semi;Ita Enang used the Calabar-Itu road project as a campaign strategy to win election but failed to deliver on his promises afterwards&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p class&equals;"wp-block-paragraph">&&num;8220&semi;Ita Enang should eschew bitterness and join hands in celebrating the state like others are doing&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p class&equals;"wp-block-paragraph">&OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;<strong>Akwa Ibom<&sol;strong> people know his mischievous tricks and cannot be deceived by his constant rants&&num;8221&semi;&comma; Mkpat Enin  said&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p class&equals;"wp-block-paragraph">Meanwhile&comma; Ita Enang is rumored to be very interested in the<a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;openlife&period;ng&sol;"> 2023 governorship election<&sol;a>&period; Strong sources confirmed that he is already in plans to defeat his opponents&comma; particularly&comma; Udoedehe&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p class&equals;"wp-block-paragraph">He also contested the Niger Delta Ministerial &nbsp&semi;job slot with Godswill Akpabio but failed&period; Back then&comma; he had argued that he stood better chances for the slot than Akpabio&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
