A Chinese man simply identified Mr Geng is currently cooling off his heels at the custody of the divisional police station at Dorayi quarters, Kano State Police Command.
This was after he allegedly stabbed his ex girlfriend identified as Ummukulsum Sani Ummita Buhari at Kuntau residence, Janbullo Quarters, Kumbotso Local Government Area of Kano State.
The incident reportedly happened around 10 pm on Friday after the suspect visited the deceased at her parent’s house located adjacent National Environmental Standards and Regulations Enforcement Agency (NESREA) in the area.
While reasons about what transpired between the two that led to the unfortunate event remain sketchy, the young lady was confirmed dead by a doctor after she was rushed to a hospital after the incident.
The deceased, Ummakulsum, popularly known as ‘Ummita’ attended the Kano School of Nursing and Midwifery.
The Police Public Relations Officer in Kano, Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa confirmed the incident and promised to provide more information later.
Eyewitnesses said that Mr Geng had a sizzling relationship with the young lady for two years before she settled for another man within the city.

The account explained that Geng, who felt jilted by Buhari, never let go until last night when he allegedly scaled the perimeter fence, sneaked into her room and murdered her in a cold blood.
