<h4>Buratai Prays For Aluko As New Benin Republic Ambassador</h4>
<p><strong><a href="https://openlife.ng/">OpenLife Nigeria</a></strong> reports that Ambassador Olukayode Aluko, former deputy of the Nigeria Mission in Benin Republic to Ambassador Tukur Yusufu Buratai has been appointed as Nigerian Ambassador to the French speaking West Africa Country.<br />
Congratulating Aluko, Ambassador Buratai who served as Benin Republic Ambassador from February 4, 2021 till November 2022 as well as Nigerian Chief of Army Staff between July 2015 and 2021 and retired as Lieutenant General, extolled the virtue of President Muhammadu Buhari who intelligently picked Aluko as his successor.<br />
He described the appointment as “Well deserved,” and a round peg in a round hole.<br />
In a letter he personally signed and dated November 15, Buratai prayed for Aluko’s success and urged him to continue the implementation of the legacy policy framework they both articulated for the well being of patriotic Nigerians in Benin Republic.<br />
<em><strong>“This appointment is a resounding acknowledgment of your many years of meritorious service to our dear country. I commend your dynamism and professional approach to the handling of the mission under me as the deputy head of mission.</strong></em><br />
<em><strong>“I am sure you will continue to improve on the quality of service delivery in the mission for the benefits of the law abiding Nigerians in the host country.</strong></em><br />
<em><strong>“God will grant you wisdom and good health as you justify the confidence reposed in you,</strong></em>” Buratai prayed.<br />
At the moment, the former Army boss has been assigned to assist President Buhari who is the head of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, 2023 Presidential Campaign Council.<br />
Buratai currently oversees the security architecture of the campaign organization of the party that has Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as its presidential candidate.<br />
Meanwhile, leaders across sectors would gather on Tuesday, November 22, at the Silverbird Cinema, Abuja to attend a book launch in honour of the former Ambassador.<br />
Titiled The “legend of Buratai” and written by Dr. Abubakar Mohammed Sani, the book is a public presentation of the children book and animated narration of the “Legend of Buratai.”<br />
Expected at the event as Special guest of honour is the current Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General General Farouk Yahaya.<br />
Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is the chief launcher while Rotimi Amaechi, immediate past Minister of Transportation and Dr. Mohammed Goni Alkali, Chief Executive Officer, North East Development Commission, NEDC will serve as co chairmen.<br />
