<h4>How Do You Expect Us To Provide Adequate Electricity In Just Few Years&quest;&&num;8212&semi;Governor Dapo Abiodun<&sol;h4>&NewLine;<p>&nbsp&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong><a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;openlife&period;ng&sol;">OpenLife<&sol;a><&sol;strong> reports that Nigeria’s electricity crisis has no quick fixes&comma; and Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun didn’t mince words on Friday&comma; March 27&comma; at the 2026 APC National Convention in Abuja&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>He told Nigerians bluntly that perfect power supply is still far off&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;<em><strong>From the common man’s point of view&comma; we have had problems with power supply in the last couple of weeks&comma; but we will not get it right 100 per cent in three and a half years&comma;”<&sol;strong><&sol;em> Abiodun stated&comma; cutting through the usual political optimism&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The governor&comma; however&comma; struck a cautiously positive note&period; &OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;<em><strong>But you know what&comma; I think so far&comma; so well&comma;”<&sol;strong><&sol;em> he said&comma; indicating that improvements&comma; though gradual&comma; are under way&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The reality on the ground has been stark&colon; in recent months&comma; Nigerians have faced worsening outages&comma; largely blamed on limited gas supply to thermal power plants the backbone of the nation’s electricity generation&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>In a rare public admission&comma; Minister of Power Adebayo Adelabu apologised to citizens&comma; promising that supply would stabilise within two weeks&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Yet&comma; experts warn that systemic issues&comma; from aging infrastructure to gas constraints&comma; mean the sector will remain volatile for years&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Abiodun’s frank acknowledgment shows that stable electricity in Nigeria is a marathon&comma; not a sprint&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
