Abudu supports MAPOLY

&NewLine;<p>Chief Olatunde Abudu&comma; OFR&comma;  a foremost Industrialist has made a whopping N10 million donation to support Moshood Abiola Polytechnic&period; Abudu&comma; a Fellow of the Institution made the donation when the Management of the Polytechnic paid him a courtesy visit on advocacy for the support of the institution in his residence in Abeokuta&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>According to the&NewLine;Public Relation Officer Mr Ajibola&comma; the &nbsp&semi;Rector of the Polytechnic&comma; Dr&period;&NewLine;Samson Adeola Odedina who led the management team on the visit&comma; briefed the chief&NewLine;about government support to the ivory tower since it was returned to status quo&NewLine;ante in June&comma; 2019 and other challenges associated with smooth running of the&NewLine;school&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>He added that&comma; Odedina&NewLine;said that the importance of the meeting was to continue &nbsp&semi;relationship with&NewLine;all Polytechnic stakeholders in order &nbsp&semi;to bring the institution to its&NewLine;rightful place among the friendship &nbsp&semi;of Institutions in Nigeria&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>The Rector said&NewLine;effort is ongoing to launch the institution back into prominence in the&NewLine;2019&sol;2020 admission with the Joint Admission Matriculation Board&lpar;JAMB&rpar;&NewLine;returning MAPOLY status to its portal and National Board For Technical&NewLine;Education&lpar;NBTE&rpar;&comma;” assuring the revalidation and accreditation of forty four programmes&NewLine;previously run by the Polytechnic&comma; while new programmes including its first set&NewLine;of Agricultural and land-related courses in its forty years of existence&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>&nbsp&semi;The institution is also taking advantage of&NewLine;the new Polytechnic act recently signed by President Muhammadu Buhari GCFR&comma;&NewLine;that now empowers Polytechnics to partner with other relevant institutions to&NewLine;produce high-level manpower”<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>Meanwhile&comma;Chief&NewLine;Olatunde Abudu expressed joy for having the Management of the Polytechnic on a&NewLine;courtesy visit&comma; recounting his relationship with the institution and his belief&NewLine;in educational development as well as the relevance of MAPOLY in filling the&NewLine;gaps in capacity building and employment generation in Nigeria&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>The nonagenarian&NewLine;educationist commended the Management for resolving to turn around the&NewLine;institution with consultation and revalidation of relationship with major&NewLine;stakeholders of the Polytechnic&nbsp&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p>He added that the&NewLine;&nbsp&semi;Mayegun of Egbaland&comma; therefore &nbsp&semi;promised his unflinching support to&NewLine;corroborate the Management’s drive to rebranding the foremost forty year old&NewLine;MAPOLY&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
