<p>Anambra Police Command has burst a child-stealing syndicate that sold a set of twins for N150, 000.</p>



<p>This is the disclosure of Superintendent Haruna Mohammed, the Command’s spokesman.</p>



<p>In a statement, the<a href="https://openlife.ng/"> PPRO</a>  ;said  ;the Command has arrested two men suspected to have stolen twins. The twins, he stated have been rescued.</p>



<p>According to him “Following credible intelligence on September  ;21, at about 6pm, police operatives attached to the <a href="https://openlife.ng/">Command Special Anti-cult unit, SPACS</a>, arrested a 31 years old Chijioke Chukwulota  ;from  ;Imo State but resides at Uruagu village, Nnewi, Anambra State.</p>



<p>&#8220;The Suspect lured his ex-girlfriend whom he allegedly impregnated. After given birth to the twins through a cesarean section, he stole the baby girls, aged about two months on August 40. He sold the same children to a 31 years old  ;Tina Ibeato in Imo State at the rate of N150,000.</p>



<p><a href="http://www.dailytrust.com.ng">Haruna</a> further stated that  ;the two suspects have been arrested and the children recovered in good condition.</p>



<p>The suspects would be brought to book after the on going investigation is concluded. he said.</p>
