Thank you very much.  My name is Assogba Tobiloba Daniel, CEO of DannyGold Construction Services. We are a professional construction firm with extensive experience in project management, construction supervision, and delivering unique developments both within Nigeria and across the globe.

Why did you go into the construction industry?

I saw a gap for dependable, professional firms that could deliver quality jobs through effective management of construction works. I wanted to build a company that clients could trust to deliver on time, on budget, and to specification.

Tell us about your reputation and innovation in the industry.

For over two decades, our reputation has been built on one thing: quality delivery. That comes from proper planning, strict cost control, and operational efficiency. We don’t just see ourselves as contractors. We are partners to our clients, walking with them from concept to completion.

 How many projects have you executed so far?
We have successfully delivered over 20 major projects across residential, commercial, and institutional sectors. Just this year alone, we have handled more than 10 projects.

How do you help clients actualize their dreams?

We have delivered a wide range of structures including residential homes, commercial buildings, schools, and institutional projects.

What about refurbishment, remodeling, rehabilitation and upgrade of buildings?
We are very strong in that area. Our approach to upgrades and rehabilitation is driven by proper project monitoring, detailed documentation, accurate budgeting, and active customer engagement to ensure the final result meets and exceeds expectations.

How did you get into construction?
It runs in the family. I was inspired by friends and family members in the industry. Construction has been a generational calling for me.

How many years have you been in the industry and what have you learned?
This year makes it 21 years. The biggest lessons have been the importance of teamwork, continuous learning from industry ancestors, and embracing technological methods to stay relevant.

How would you describe your client relationship?
I am very open and accessible to my clients. They are more than clients, they are partners and friends. Communication is the soul of our business, and it has made project execution seamless.

What do you expect from government to grow the construction industry in Nigeria?
Government should make modern technological tools more accessible to construction firms. The equipment is very expensive, but with government support services, jobs will be more effective.

Also, more should be done to engage young people so they don’t exit the industry. Construction is a key driver of employment.

How have you contributed to job creation and the Nigerian economy?
We create direct and indirect jobs across our projects. We are also compliant – we don’t miss our tax obligations because nation building starts with corporate responsibility.

 How has the company grown?
We started in 2011 with just 2 people. Today we are a team of over 20 professionals and growing.

 What drives you and what is your focus?
I am driven by the passion to promote quality jobs and unity. My focus is to ensure we build stronger, safer houses in Nigeria so we can eliminate building collapses and guarantee a safe environment for Nigerians.
