A Woman Hired From Lagos For “City Boy” Empowerment Programme In Owerri Accuses Seyi Tinubu
OpenLife reports that a Lagos-based woman has accused Seyi Tinubu, Obi Cubana, and Cubana Chief Priest of failing to fulfill promises after she travelled to Owerri for the City Boy Movement empowerment programme.
She claimed that participants were recruited with the assurance of payment and empowerment items, but those promises were not delivered.
“I need to get paid. After hiring us from Lagos to Owerri to campaign for you, I didn’t get paid as promised and didn’t even collect any of the items shared,” she said in a video that has gone viral online.
The woman added that she is now stranded in Owerri without enough money to return home. “Now I don’t have money to go back to Lagos,” she lamented.

The incident has sparked discussions about accountability in political mobilization and the treatment of grassroots supporters.
As of now, none of the individuals mentioned have responded to her claims, raising questions about how such events are organized and whether promised support reaches participants.
