<p><strong>The Commissioner of Police Zamfara State Command, Usman Nagogo, has inaugurated a 16 and 17 members in the on going Community Policing Advisory Committees in Maru and Tsafe local governments areas of the State.</strong></p>



<p><strong>The members of the committees were inaugurated at the palaces of the two Emirates and was attended by the two ; Local Government Chairmen, Community/ Religious leaders and other important personalities of ; the two council areas.</strong></p>



<p><strong> ;Nagogo, while inaugurating the committee, stressed the importance of the committee saying that policing in the modern days is community driven . Hence, the people will have the opportunity of providing house to house watch.</strong></p>



<p><strong>While responding, ; the Emirs and council ; chairmen appreciated the Inspector General of Police for ; the gesture, which they said would never be abused. They added that only people of impeccable characters will be selected into the exercise.</strong></p>



<p><strong>A statement signed by Superintendent Mohammed Shehu, the Command’s spokesman stated that the CP was accompanied by the State Director of Security (DSS), Commandant Civil Defence and other senior Police officers.</strong></p>
