Zamfara Command progresses on Nigeria Police enlistment

&NewLine;<p class&equals;"wp-block-paragraph">Zamfara State Police Command had made significant progress in the on-going nationwide Police enlistment&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p class&equals;"wp-block-paragraph">Report says on day-3 and  4 of the physical and credential screening exercise&comma; a large number of applicants have been successfully screened&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p class&equals;"wp-block-paragraph">The exercise is taking place at the Zamfara state&nbsp&semi; Universal Basic Education Training Center&comma; Gusau&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p class&equals;"wp-block-paragraph"> the Ad &&num;8211&semi; Hoc Screening Committee headed by DCP Musa Garba is working&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p class&equals;"wp-block-paragraph">According to Superintendent  Mohammed Shehu&comma; the Commands spokesperson&comma;&&num;8221&semi;They have continued with it&&num;8217&semi;s assignment of screening Zamfara indigenes for enlistment into the Nigeria <a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;openlife&period;ng&sol;">Police Force<&sol;a> as Constables&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p class&equals;"wp-block-paragraph">Applicants from Birnin Magaji and Bukkuyum LGAs were successfully screened by the committee on August 26&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p class&equals;"wp-block-paragraph"> Continuing&comma; the committee screened Bungudu local government area applicants on August 27&period; <&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p class&equals;"wp-block-paragraph">&OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;The screening of these Councils was a follow up to the screening exercise already started on the 24th August 2020&period; The exercise will continue tomorrow Friday 28th August 2020 with applicants from Gummi local government area&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p class&equals;"wp-block-paragraph">The committee under the leadership of <a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;openlife&period;ng&sol;">DCP Musa Yusuf Garba<&sol;a> has assured the applicants of fairness&period; Committee told general public that it will continue to discharge it&&num;8217&semi;s assignment with the fear of God&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p class&equals;"wp-block-paragraph">He further reminded the applicants that the recruitment process is purely free of charge and without any pecuniary obligations&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p class&equals;"wp-block-paragraph">The committee ensures strict compliance with the Covid-19 prevention protocols <&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p class&equals;"wp-block-paragraph">Zamfara State is a state in Northwestern Nigeria and its capital is Gusau&period; Until its creation on 1 October 1996&comma; the state was part of old <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;guardian&period;ng">Sokoto<&sol;a> State&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p class&equals;"wp-block-paragraph">The State has 14 Local Government Areas with a 2016 population estimate of Population&colon; 5&comma;307&comma;154&period;Male are  2&comma;706&comma;649 while female are  2&comma;600&comma;506&period; The State is in a total land area of 39&comma;762km2&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p class&equals;"wp-block-paragraph">General Sani Abacha created the State on October 1&comma; 1996&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
