<p>Zamfara State Police Command had made significant progress in the on-going nationwide Police enlistment.</p>



<p>Report says on day-3 and 4 of the physical and credential screening exercise, a large number of applicants have been successfully screened.</p>



<p>The exercise is taking place at the Zamfara state ; Universal Basic Education Training Center, Gusau.</p>



<p> the Ad &#8211; Hoc Screening Committee headed by DCP Musa Garba is working.</p>



<p>According to Superintendent Mohammed Shehu, the Commands spokesperson,&#8221;They have continued with it&#8217;s assignment of screening Zamfara indigenes for enlistment into the Nigeria <a href="https://openlife.ng/">Police Force</a> as Constables.</p>



<p>Applicants from Birnin Magaji and Bukkuyum LGAs were successfully screened by the committee on August 26.</p>



<p> Continuing, the committee screened Bungudu local government area applicants on August 27. </p>



<p>“The screening of these Councils was a follow up to the screening exercise already started on the 24th August 2020. The exercise will continue tomorrow Friday 28th August 2020 with applicants from Gummi local government area.</p>



<p>The committee under the leadership of <a href="https://openlife.ng/">DCP Musa Yusuf Garba</a> has assured the applicants of fairness. Committee told general public that it will continue to discharge it&#8217;s assignment with the fear of God.</p>



<p>He further reminded the applicants that the recruitment process is purely free of charge and without any pecuniary obligations.</p>



<p>The committee ensures strict compliance with the Covid-19 prevention protocols </p>



<p>Zamfara State is a state in Northwestern Nigeria and its capital is Gusau. Until its creation on 1 October 1996, the state was part of old <a href="http://www.guardian.ng">Sokoto</a> State.</p>



<p>The State has 14 Local Government Areas with a 2016 population estimate of Population: 5,307,154.Male are 2,706,649 while female are 2,600,506. The State is in a total land area of 39,762km2.</p>



<p>General Sani Abacha created the State on October 1, 1996.</p>
